CISCATO BICYCLES – Handcrafted Heritage Since 1914

For over a century, the Ciscato family has lived and breathed bicycles.
It all began in 1914, in a small workshop in the heart of Vicenza, where bikes were repaired and a deep passion for mechanics filled the air.
After World War I, the business resumed with renewed strength: alongside the store, a workshop was opened where frames and bicycles were crafted for the Italian brand Berga.

In the 1970s, Giorgio Ciscato — after 13 years working alongside cycling legends as a Campagnolo race technician — took over the historic family shop.
During those years, a key partnership began with Alan, pioneers in aluminum frames. From the Ciscato workshop came the bicycles of the Polish national team, which in 1973 triumphed at the Amateur World Championships:
Gold and silver in the road race, and gold in the team time trial.

In the 1980s, Gaetano Ciscato also joined Campagnolo.
As a technical specialist, he supported 7 editions of the Giro d’Italia, 8 Tour de France, the Los Angeles Olympics, and the Asian Games in Seoul — assembling bikes for top-level athletes and providing technical assistance from support cars during some of the world’s toughest competitions.

Meanwhile, after completing his studies, Giovanni joined his father Giorgio in the shop, continuing a tradition built on passion, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.

The fifth generation now continues the legacy

Today, Davide Ciscato — grandson of Giorgio and son of Gaetano — carries on the legacy.
After working for over ten years in the family shop, where he developed deep technical and commercial expertise in the cycling world, he expanded his experience as Area Sales Manager for Eastern Europe at Vittoria, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of bicycle tires.

Davide’s international experience, combined with a deep connection to his family’s tradition, led him to breathe new life into the Ciscato name — not just as a legacy, but as a brand.
